Real estate developers are looking at Point St. Charles because the neighborhood is next to donwtown and have a lot of unused lots and buildings. The power of money hypnotize our politicians and the're unable to protect our quality of life. Because urban « development » doesn't mean for us authoritarian construction of shopping malls, parking lots and other condos, we urge inhabitants to take their neighborhood's democratic life in charge.

In that way, we are creating an Autonomous Social Center! A space hosting cultural, social and political activities, governed democraticaly by it users, open to everybody under the respect of these founding principles: a non-oppressive, profeminist, anti-racist, anti-authoritarian and autonomous from the State and Corporations space, promoting alternative lifestyles and politics.
